Welcome!
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, Eric.morrison1332, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of your recent edits show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.
Did you know that ...
- ...Wikipedia has a very stringent image use policy?
- ...most images from Flickr, online news websites, and other web sources are copyrighted?
- ...Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously?
- ...freely-licensed images should be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, a central location for images where they can be used on all Wikipedia projects?
- ...we recommend that new users use our "files for upload" process - at least until you get the hang of things?
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Wikimedia Commons images
[edit]Hi Eric.morrison1332. Please read the messages being posted on your Wikimedia Commons user talk page. Continuing to uploaded copyrighted images like File:Ga Revs FC Crest.png as "own work" is going to lead to you being blocked by a Commons' administrator since you've already be warned about this by administrator Yann. You need to provide evidence that either you are the original copyright holder of the logo or that the original copyright holder of the logo has agreed to freely license the logo; otherwise, the file will never be accepted by Commons. If you're not sure what this means, please refer to c:COM:OTRS#If you are not the copyright holder or try asking for assistance at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Please read your talk page posts because continuing to upload copyrighted content without proper permission to do so is going to be seen even by Wikipedia administrators as disruptive editing, which may lead to you being blocked from editing on Wikipedia as well. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:50, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Deon McCaulay. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. GiantSnowman 15:51, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
GiantSnowman Deon McCaulay is signed with the Georgia Revolution FC. I have put him back on both the team and players page as a member of the team and added a citation. Thanks for your assistance. Eric.morrison1332 (talk) 03:41, 25 April 2018 (UTC) Eric.morrison1332
ArbCom 2018 election voter message
[edit]Hello, Eric.morrison1332. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
