Editing

[edit]

Hello,

An ANI was opened up regarding your editing conduct and as a regular, experienced user (not an admin), I thought I would point out a couple of things. It appears that you made edit sometimes based upon your own personal opinion, rather than cited sources. This is called original research and should not be done. Instead, Reliable secondary sources are the foundation for edits made to Wikipedia.

Some examples are:

It would be helpful to be familiar with {{Wikipedia policies and guidelines}} and to do so, you may want to consider taking the tutorial. If you continue to make disruptive edits, which means removing or changing content based upon your opinion rather than cited sources, you may be warned with messages like {{Uw-disruptive1}} and could ultimately be blocked.–CaroleHenson (talk) 00:10, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if you are familiar with notifications if you've been pinged, but I posted a message at Talk:Isaias Afwerki for you. From now on, I won't also post here if I have a message for you. You'll just see a notification at the top of your screen.–CaroleHenson (talk) 13:56, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if this applies, but you may want to take a look at WP:Sockpuppet, which could result in any accounts from the same person being blocked.–CaroleHenson (talk) 14:59, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if there's a connection, but 79.67.163.167‎ made similar kinds of edits - changing the meaning of content from cited sources and adding information without adding a source.–CaroleHenson (talk) 13:11, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm CaroleHenson. I noticed that you recently removed content from Isaias Afwerki without adequately explaining why on the article talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Again, you are removing cited content without talking about it on the article talk page... and you have provided no sources for your ascertains. If this continues, this behavior could result in your getting blocked.CaroleHenson (talk) 20:31, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Isaias Afwerki ‎. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. 1) The sources were already in the article, 2) You have provided NO, NONE, ZERO sources for your contentions, and 3) you just edit war and don't discuss the issues on the article talk page.CaroleHenson (talk) 22:02, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Aida Habtezion has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. —{Canucklehead} 03:32, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Aida Habtezion moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Aida Habtezion, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
