January 2016

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm GeneralizationsAreBad. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Planet Nine has been undone because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Not sure it's called that... GABHello! 00:47, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear why it is not constructive. Please explain in detail. Ensign Hapuna of the Royal Hawaiian Navy (talk) 00:49, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm pretty sure it's neither called "Jehoshaphat" nor "George." Just my humble opinion. I'd also appreciate it if you wouldn't add uncited material and then tag it as "citation needed," as per WP:V. Thanks, GABHello! 00:50, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You may be "pretty sure" but you are wrong. I will add a citation to address your concern. Let me know if anything else bothers you! I am willing to help. Ensign Hapuna of the Royal Hawaiian Navy (talk) 00:53, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies -- thanks for citing your source, I appreciate it. It seemed like a joke to me at first, but you are evidently right. GABHello! 00:57, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The lead of the article is not the place to go into alternative names. That is discussed in the Planet_Nine#Names section. -- Kheider (talk) 00:59, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your idea. However, that is not the way many articles, even featured articles do it. Rest assured, I support discussion and have no plans to add it back today or tomorrow. Ensign Hapuna of the Royal Hawaiian Navy (talk) 01:06, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Planet Nine is basically known as Planet Nine. There is no need to go into "nicknames" in the lead. -- Kheider (talk) 01:14, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hold back your BS

[edit]

In the spirit of cooperation, go FYS. Posts about UFOs and other BS got archived along with all finished discussions. Nobody complained. Please do the tutorial before you go harassing people. Now, Piss off. Thank you. BatteryIncluded (talk) 19:34, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • BatteryIncluded This is really not the way to address other users acting in good faith. Calling their edits "bullshit" or telling them to "go fuck [them]selves" or "piss off" is a good way to earn a forced vacation from editing and really not the way editing in a collaborative environment works. –xenotalk 19:53, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion Tag Removed

[edit]

The article whose speedy deletion tag you removed was tagged for deletion because it was already created under another name. Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park attack is the presently existing article that goes into further depth. The article is either going to need deletion, or merging. @Ensign Hapuna of the Royal Hawaiian Navy: Mr rnddude (talk) 16:50, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
