Help

[edit]

The above suggests that recent contributions appear to be advertising or promotion. I am slightly baffled by this as I have definitely not posted anything other than a question to one of the editors and intentionally did not even mention the name of the company I was writing about. Could it be that someone is spamming my entry? Energypricing123 (talk) 22:13, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[1] is the article under discussion. You repeatedly use 'our company', and the similarity with your username violates Wikipedia:Username policy; see Wikipedia:Changing username (this username itself implies corporate interest/joint access). Accounts must be for individuals only, and you should stop using 'our' where it makes it unclear if more than one person has access to the account. Note 'our entry' is incorrect; it is/was Wikipedia's article about Energylinx. Wikipedia:Deletion review is available where the article may be returned for editing, removing phrases & words to avoid (see Wikipedia:Wikipuffery, and adding non-promotional coverage from independent reliable sources with no financial interest. You should also read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. I know this is a lot of information, but I hope each of these links & the information helps. Dru of Id (talk) 22:48, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
