Peer Review - Rabinal Achí

[edit]

The article is well structured and has a good flow starting with the History and early performance and concluding with present day performance of Rabinal Achí. It also has a logical series of section headings. The article currently lacks a strong introductory paragraph that gives a general overview of the subject and expresses the significance of this performance tradition. Each section has one or two great introductory sentences however adding a little more information to each section would help the reader have a better understanding of the topic. Some information that could be included is discussing the performers and where or how they receive their training,. The plot section mentions that Rabinal Achí tells the story of a feud that took place. Maybe expound on what the Rabinal and Quiche people were fighting about. The article does have in-text links, an external links section and a Further reading section where the reader can obtain more resources. The article could use more in-text citations. Because Rabinal Achí is still performed today it would be nice to see images from modern day performances. The clarity and accuracy of the article is very strong. I agree with Dr. Hughes, the article has a great outline and covers the foundation of the Rabinal Achi. I think going more in depth with each section would provide better reference for those looking for more information about this type of performance. Expanding on the existing information, while adding hyperlinks to other wikipedia articles would really strengthen the page as a resource. Any additional photos that you could find, whether that be in the spaces that it is performed, or of modern day performances would be great. Great editing so far! PR for Fawad Khan

[edit]

Hi Emmaosmundson, I've recently requested a PR for the article Fawad Khan (see here). It'd be an honour for me if you consider reviewing it. Thanks. Amirk94391 (talk) 16:57, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
