COM 482 Peer Introduction

[edit]

Hi Emma! I'm Kathy, a senior studying Comms in 482 with a minor in Informatics. I saw on your intro on Mako's talk page that you're a fan of movies and music, what are some of your favorite genres/titles? Kathylamb7 (talk) 01:27, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kathy! As far as music goes I'm definitely all over the place but my 2 favorite artists are Lorde and Drake (but I also love country music and went to the Stagecoach music festival my senior year of high school!) Right now I've especially been loving Halloween movies since it's that time of year and my favorites are Hocus Pocus, Sleepy Hallow, and Corpse Bride!Emmaaitelli (talk) 03:36, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

[edit]

Welcome Emmaaitelli (again!) to both Wikipedia and to COM482! I saw that you picked Dime Store Cowgirl. Although the article is a stub, you can see that the article is somewhat advanced compared to many others. As a result, so you might need to dig a bit deeper to make significant improvement to the article. It also looks lilke you're making good progress on that.

Look at the talk page of the article (Talk:Dime Store Cowgirl) for related WikiProjects that will have links to excellent articles on similar topics which should point you at templates and examples of how to improve the article. I'm looking forward to seeing watching the article develop over the next week. —mako 14:46, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback on your draft

[edit]

Greetings Emmaaitelli! I've just taken a pass on User:Emmaaitelli/Dime Store Cowgirl. It looks great! Thanks for all the hard work that you put into this!

I made small edits to the sandbox for style: fixing typos, periods in the wrong place, that kinds of thing. Why don't you do a final pass to clean up some of this kind of stuff and then move your changes over into the live version. I think with another pass, you'll be in really great shape! —mako 18:37, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
