Two different accounts?

[edit]

Hello Emily. Recently you filed WP:AN3#User:Koala15 reported by User:Emily Alexander (Result: ). You've also left a comment at the WP:CHU/S which changes user names. Should I assume that you are now editing under two different accounts, this one (Emily Alexander) and the newly-created one, User:SaraCrewe? It is not advisable to operate two separate accounts, and in fact, your AN3 complaint might be closed for that reason. Please let me know so the situation can be clarified. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 20:21, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi EdJohnston. Yes, I accidentally set up two accounts! I plan to use the Emily Alexander one. I am very sorry if this created confusion or any appearance of disingenuity. However, the issues I raised about Koala15 have clearly come up before, as I can see that this user has been warned about disruptive editing many times before. Again, I'm very sorry for any confusion.

I'm afraid that Koala15's record (or not) of bad behavior is put in the shadow by the usage of multiple accounts and possible conflict of interest. If you have a connection to one of the companies involved in that movie then you should not be editing the article at all, per WP:COI. You can continue to make suggestions on the talk page. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 21:30, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:04, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
