Link between John Lancaster and "De Langlée" Family
[edit]Hi, Have you any information and sources for the fact of John Lancaster could be Jean de Langlée ? I don't find any sources for this affirmation on the web and I'm interested because of Jean de Langlée is one of my ancestor. Thanks for your reply. Regards. SlyBig (talk) 13:28, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
- Which John Lancaster do you mean? Who is Jean de Langlee? And why do you think they are the same person? EmilySarah99 (talk) 07:15, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi,
- You wrote in wikipedia page : "The noble de Langlée family of France claimed him as their ultimate ancestor" when you talk about Sir John Clarence (son of Thomas of Lancaster). SlyBig (talk) 08:09, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- @SlyBig I just looked through the edit history. the edits I made to that page are no longer live and didn't involve the de langlee family. EmilySarah99 (talk) 09:07, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- @EmilySarah99 Sorry, but the mention of "De Langlée" family is always in Thomas of Lancaster page (Burial section) : https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Thomas_of_Lancaster,_Duke_of_Clarence SlyBig (talk) 09:35, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- @SlyBig I have nothing to do with this edit. If you want to ask the author, you will need to talk to User:RSekulovich as they made the edit. Considering this is unsourced, I will remove it from the article. I have doubts about the accuracy of that claim, especially if you can't find any info on the web. - I'm sorry, I've not read correctly the edit, I thought it was your Edit. I'm going to contact RSekulovich. Thanks for your replies.

- @193.52.40.238 no worries! EmilySarah99 (talk) 12:34, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- @193.52.40.238 you might also want to start a section on the articles talk page. they'll know more than I do EmilySarah99 (talk) 12:38, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Ok, I will create this section. 193.52.40.238 (talk) 12:40, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
