Your contributed article, Mobile Working
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Mobile Working. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Mobile collaboration. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Mobile collaboration – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Erick Shepherd (talk) 15:32, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

Deleted article, please reinstate it or switch it to draft file
[edit]Hi, I started a page called Mobile working which has been deleted. I don't honestly understand why, I gave clear early feedback on why it is a valuable new article but that seems to have gone unheeded. Is there any way that my article can at least be undeleted and put into the draft / development format so that I can continue working on it or I will have to do it all again?
Thank you
Ed

Hello Emilnes, It seems that this page was deleted via a 'speedy deletion'. It was suggested that the page replicated the content at mobile collaboration: you could try adding content to that page, and we could always redirect 'mobile working' to there if that's more appropriate. A Wikipedia Admin can access deleted pages, and may move the content to a draft page within your user space if he or she thinks that there's merit in it being worked on further. What I'll do is replace your current request for help with a request for help from an Admin: this should result in someone coming along who can assist soon. --Super Nintendo Chalmers (talk) 12:11, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
This request for help from administrators has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please reapply the {{admin help}} template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page. |
I've copied the request from above on behalf of Emilnes, as this requires the assistance of an admin. --Super Nintendo Chalmers (talk) 12:12, 21 April 2016 (UTC)

HI, I have checked the mobile collaboration page and the Mobile working page is nothing like it. Mobile collaboration concerns the communication and networking aspects of working using mobile devices. Mobile working as my article set out to define it - on behalf of the ergonomics community - is concerned with the physical acts of using mobile devices for work, whether that be online or offline, in the office, or out of the office or anywhere else. It is an important concept which has legal implications in the UK at least, and probably elsewhere, as employers have a duty to manage musculoskeletal risks such as text-thumb and tablet-neck which come with provision of mobile devices for work tasks. It is a very different subject to mobile collaboration as defined on that page and I believe a paragraph on that page would not be sufficient - there is a lot of information and references to ergonomics research which is relevant to it, which bears no relation to the mobile collaboration page. For more information you could look at our website www.mobileoffice.guru
- As an act of good faith that you're not here to spam us about your company's website, I have restored the article and placed it at User:Emilnes/Mobile working. I suggest you submit it through the Articles for Creation process once you've improved it with suitable third-party reliable sources. Katietalk 18:52, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
