Hello Elzia. I have noticed your edits to the Save Our State article. You're right, as long as the article exists, it will continue to be vandalized, probably in the ways we continue to see (removing critical language, removing/replacing external links. There also seems to be a tug-of-war over the introductory description ("civil rights and immigration reform" v. "racist and nationalist"). In my first rewording, I said "anti-illegal immigration" as it seemed the most neutral, but since they call themselves a civil rights group, it keeps getting added in. IMO, it seems more like they're trying to limit peoples' civil rights than to extend them. And there are strong strains of nationalism behind that sentiment. But they object to being called racist, so they probably shouldn't be labeled as such until later when the article goes into their opposition. (Which it does only slightly at this point--I haven't had much time.) I appreciate your reasons for wanting to get rid of the article altogether, but I think as long as we're vigilant, we can have a good, NPOV article that can also be used to keep an eye on this group and monitor any new developments or turns it might take. What do you think?--Rockero 04:58, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
