I fell in love with Charles Foreman Johnson's architecture in 1983 when I saw his "boulder house" in an Architectural Digest. In my humble opinion, based on this one home alone, he is an incredible architect and interior designer. Here is a video of "boulder house": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eONZBN113G4 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elizabeth Faraone (talkcontribs) 13:40, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

about sending stuff

[edit]

Much of what you ask for may possibly be available to you. I've looked at your deWP page; am I right that you're in Köln? What library faciilties do you have? Email of course if you want to be private. DGG (talk) 12:32, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'm in Köln, we have some library facilities (University, City, quite a good Diocese library etc.). I have member access to City and Diocese, at the city library I have access to Oxford Reference Premium Collection. However, the latter didn't convince me fully yet with its content. --elya (talk) 15:15, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
sorry, I've been dealing with some problems. The first batch of refs will be no difficulty--expect them tomorrow--as for the second half, they are taken from an undergraduate readings book that I do not immediately have available & certainly not in electronic format, & I have to do some hunting. My apologies--I hope I can usually do better than this. DGG (talk) 05:01, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
hey, don't worry, you're doing more than anybody can expect! I see the traffic on your talk page, you're really busy ;-) In the meantime, I could get hands on a German habilitation about Irving, quite nice as additional secondary material (an they cite plenty of american sources... ,-)) So thanks a lot in advance for your help, I'm happy about anything you can get. --elya (talk) 19:19, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
