Rex Bestle

Rex Bestle (February 4, 1955 - February 16, 1979) Author of Martinique Island and Mystery Tales-Short Stories.

Biography

Rex was born in Clearwater, Florida. He moved with his family to Burbank, California in 1962, where he grew up attending schools in Burbank and graduated from John Burroughs High School , class of 1973. He later worked for the Ralph M. Parsons Corporation (Parsons Corporation) in Pasadena, CA as a mechanical draftsman and worked on such projects as the Alaska Pipeline and additions to the Honolulu International Airport. Rex enjoyed many hobbies, including hiking, fishing, rock collecting and snow skiing. He had taken creative writing classes in high school, which led to his love of writing short stories. Rex was tragically killed in a snow skiing accident on February 16, 1979. His writings were found after his death, just 2 weeks after his 24th birthday. Years later in 2012, his writings were sent to Xlibris for publication.

Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
