Yes, and you shouldn't have done that. Blocks are on the individual, not just the account. You may not edit under any account or IP address until the block on your original account is removed. It appears that you attempted to request unblock on your original account, but you did so improperly so no one saw it(all the "nowiki" tags around it suppressed its function).
