Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Elizabethsell, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Share Our Strength, have removed content without an explanation. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Elizabethsell. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Share Our Strength, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Lemongirl942 (talk) 14:46, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
Conflict of Interest
[edit]Please disclose your conflict of interest with Share_Our_Strength on your user page. Please stop editing the Share_Our_Strength page. If you want to add to that page, please edit the associated Talk:Share_Our_Strength page with your suggested edits while disclosing that you have a COI. Another editor can then look through your edits and determine if they are good to make. Please do not force us to go through COI Noticeboard again, like we did with your last username, User_talk:Sharestrength. Just follow the rules established by all the other wikipedians here. You can still accomplish many of the goals you have about correcting info on the SOS page -- you just have to follow the rules while you do so. Please do not edit the Share_Our_Strength article page again; just edit the talk page instead. — Eric Herboso 00:44, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
