Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.

Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

Athletics

[edit]

Hello Elephant Juice. I see you've been adding to several athletes articles. Great stuff, keep up the good work. There are quite a few GB athletes who's articles are extremely short and don't even have all the major medals/performances listed, nor PBs written down. Adding little bits here and there will certainly help make a more comprehensive set of articles. Evil Eye 14:47, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for sorting it out - I knew it wasn't right but didn't know how far back to go - cheers --Nigel (Talk) 12:51, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

XC article

Good catch on the cross-country article. Thanks for the help. David D. (Talk) 18:25, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
