Your Beatles and Radiohead edits

[edit]

Please don't add EMI to the list of labels for these two acts, as Parlophone/Capitol/Apple are distributed/owned by Emi. Usually, we don't list both the imprints and the parent company. Thank you. ErleGrey 18:53, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to Kiss albums

[edit]

Hello. I reverted the recent changes you made to some Kiss album articles. According to the guidelines on WP:ALBUM, only the original record label should be listed unless a newer version is significantly different than the original. Since the only thing different about the 1997 editions is the remastering, that doesn't seem to be enough to add Mercury to the infobox. Mention of the new editions is (or should be) in the articles though. Thanks. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 13:59, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Black Sabbath albums

[edit]

Hi there. I notice you keep reverting the changes I made to Black Sabbath (album) and Paranoid (album). Please note (as I noted in my edit summaries) that the label and release date sections of the infobox should only include the original label and release date, per WP:ALBUM#Label and WP:ALBUM#Released. The additional release details have been moved to the "Release history" sections. Please stop reinstating this information into the infobox. Thank you. --PEJL 21:29, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have responded to your post at Talk:Black Sabbath#Label Edits. --PEJL 05:34, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Mix labels

[edit]

Hello. We've been changing the label info of The Mix back and forth for a time now. You should know that both EMI and Elektra were original labels for album (I happen to own the original US release, so I do know what I'm talking about). So please stop changing the label info from the correct version into the incorrect one. Cheers, Kjet 21:42, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Pic42 90.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Pic42 90.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot 05:07, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kraftwerk block quotations

[edit]

I noticed that in your Kraftwerk-related contributions, you've copied large blocks of quotations from copyright text or audio recordings. That is not permitted per Wikipedia's non-free content guidelines. It's a similar reason why we don't reproduce song lyrics for song articles - unless the song is available in the public domain. --Madchester (talk) 17:13, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA reassessment of Wicked Lester

[edit]

I have conducted a reassessment of the above article as part of the GA Sweeps process. I have found some concerns with the referencing which you can see at Talk:Wicked Lester/GA1. I have placed the article on hold whilst these are fixed. Thanks. Jezhotwells (talk) 19:00, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kraftwerk Edits

[edit]

Please do not change EMI on the Trans-Europe Express pages. The album was originally released in Germany through Kling Klang, the group's label. WP:Albums says to state the original label release. The other labels are referenced in the text. Please read over the rules on WP:Albums before making such edits again. Cheers. Andrzejbanas (talk) 15:23, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I will not leave it, and I remind you about Wikipedia:Civility. It does not matter what the other pages say, as my sources state the initial label is Kling Klang. Please report evidence otherwise with citations, and then we can remove it. Thank you. Andrzejbanas (talk) 04:17, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Electrokinesis! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 6 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Scream (Ozzy Osbourne Album)

[edit]

You seem to want to keep putting in "No Rest For The Wicked" in place of "The Ultimate Sin". You understand that the point of that line is that Scream is the first album to NOT have Zakk Wylde since The Ultimate Sin, right? Yes, he was on No Rest For the Wicked, but before that he was NOT on The Ultimate Sin, just like he's NOT on "Scream". Garth 187 (talk) 02:23, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
