The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Craig Stephen Sutherland, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Craig Sutherland. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:41, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Craig Stephen Sutherland. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Craig Sutherland. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Craig Sutherland – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:42, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Wikiisawesome. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Craig Sutherland because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. wia (talk) 13:43, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop trying to relocate the Craig Sutherland. A disambiguation page is not needed, as there isn't another Wiki article with the same name. If there was, the best way to create a disambiguation page would be through discussion. Also, your cut and paste moved is inappropriate. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:45, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, your reversal was inappropriate.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Craig Sutherland, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. wia (talk) 13:54, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Craig Sutherland. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:54, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop removing my legitimate hndis changes. Thanks!

They aren't legitimate, they are doing a cut and paste move, and creating an unnecessary disambiguation page. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:57, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That is your opinion. Eideticverse (talk) 13:58, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No, Wikipedia policy says if there is only 1 Wikipedia article with a name, then it doesn't need a disambiguation page, WP:DISAMB. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:59, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, then this policy will be changed. Thanks.
But violating the policy and making personal attacks isn't going to get it changed, it's going to get you blocked. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:01, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you make an article about a Chris Sutherland that meets Wikipedia criteria, then you can discuss a disambiguation page. Currently, it isn't needed.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Craig R. Sutherland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". I said you needed to create an article which obeys Wikipedia standards, I would recommend reading Wikipedia:Your first article. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:13, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on W. Craig Sutherland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Block

[edit]

I have blocked you for repeatedly vandalising the Craig Sutherland article. I very much doubt whether W. Craig Sutherland is notable enough for Wikipedia but if you can create a properly referenced article, feel free to submit it via AfC. If, and only if, it gets accepted, then we can talk about disambiguation links/pages. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:07, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I doubt very much that creating a disambiguation page counts as vandalism. Get a clue RHaworth.
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Please help Supreme Wiki Lords. RHaworth is egregiously exceeding his rights in blocking me and labeling a simple and respectful disambiguation edit as vandalism. My changes were not vandalism. I respectfully moved the wee footballer's content to a new page. The vandalism was caused by Wikiisawesome, Joseph2302, and RHaworth in removal of my changes. Their actions are completely uncalled for and I am calling for RHaworth, Joseph2302, and Wikiisawesome to be sanctioned by way of removal of their administrator privileges for at least 2 months. RHaworth is a vandal. Joseph2302 is a vandal. Wikiisawesome is a vandal. The proof is in the history of this page and their confused and clueless misapplication of an incorrectly specified policy.

Decline reason:

The edits you made were clearly disruptive and inappropriate. The other users were correct in reversing your edits, deleting your created pages, and blocking your account. only (talk) 21:37, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
