Creating new tournament articles

[edit]

Hi, hope you're well. Just a word of warning when creating articles for tournaments (as you have with 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup, 2024 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and 2024 T20 Blast) not to just copy-and-paste large chunks from the previous season article without amending it - it just leads to basic errors such as the article being in past tense when it should be in future (i.e. "2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup was the 4th edition" when it hasn't happened yet), references to format changes that were relevant to the previous season (i.e. the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy expanded from 2022 to 2023, not from 2023 to 2024) and other things being missed (i.e. Somerset being listed already as 2024 T20 Blast winners). Obviously, articles from season to season will be similar, but it needs a slightly more thorough check that the information being copied is adjusted and relevant!
