Articles for Haplomitriopsida [class]

Hi, @Esculenta! I have broken the page of work into two main sections: Articles and Taxonomy templates. The article list is ready for class Haplomitriopsida. I'm still working on the other classes. I'm thinking that the only articles that need to be created at this time are above genus. Any existing articles will need to be reviewed to make sure that any mention of taxonomy matches the taxobox in the article. If you find something weird, let me know. Everything is coming from bryonames, so it is including extinct taxa which WFO does not list. – Elizabeth (Eewilson) (tag or ping me) (talk) 23:01, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a little confused as to what exactly the task is. "The article list is ready for class Haplomitriopsida" Does this mean that it's time to create articles for this class, now that you've got the taxonomy sorted out? I don't see any articles (above genus) that needs creating in this class ... I had a look at the bluelinked articles of Haplomitriopsida and didn't see any errors in higher-order classification. Am I correct in thinking I should wait for your go-ahead before creating articles for higher-level taxa in the other classes? Esculenta (talk) 14:36, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh! Well, I guess not! I am double checking my list with bryonames because I had built it from WFO, but you don't need to wait on me. If you find one that is not in bryonames, or vice versa, then let me know. @Esculenta, tagging you just in case you aren't following. Also, if you find taxa missing templates, I can create them. So can you, for that matter, but I don't mind.

The reference section on this page has a start of a list of items you might need.

@Esculenta,if you are going from my list of articles, the Articles for Marchantiopsida are now ready, as are some if the orders and families of the large class Jungermanniopsida.
