tagging for deletion of File:Liz Kendall.jpg

Greetings Eeekster. Have traced my email correspondence of July 2010 to the copyright holder including the prescribed wording required. Don't know what happened but will resend it forthwith with a request that he sends it to permissions. Regards JRPG (talk) 21:03, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi Eeekster. I saw the tags you added to the file's page. If it's unacceptable for non-free use, then please let me know and I'll tag it for deletion per WP:G7 or WP:F7. I downloaded the image from the team's Twitter page and the file was a jpeg. I then used it MS Paint to save it as a png. All I did was resave the file in the new format; I did not edit in any way. To be honest, I am not very familiar with the different image formats or workings of compression, so not sure how to convert the file to the desired svg. For reference, I also added File:Sydney FC W-League logo.png in the same way using the file upload wizard which probably means it also needs to be converted to svg. Any pointers you can provide on how to best do this would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance. - Marchjuly (talk) 01:39, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

You don't have to do anything. The tags alert others as well and somebody might to the fixing. Eeekster (talk) 01:54, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification. How should I upload similar logos in the future? Is it as simple as converting the file to svg format prior to uploading or is the process more involved? Thanks again. - Marchjuly (talk) 02:03, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
SVG is more complicated than just converting. So you should probably leave that for others to do. Eeekster (talk) 02:05, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Will do. Thanks again. - Marchjuly (talk) 02:10, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Simon Leather

The sources you mentioned on Simon Leather are for Twitter and another profile type page (which is like Linked in/Facebook/ect.) just wanted to point that out really quick, thanks! Wgolf (talk) 02:44, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Queen Mary 2 sailing past South Solitary Island

Hi Eeekster, The file "Queen Mary 2 sailing past South Solitary Island.jpg" is my own photo, and I am the copywrite holder for it. Please don't delete it, and could you please let me know how to fix it. thanks Watchthebirdie (talk) 06:49, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

Trying To Comply But Am Genuinely Confused

I filled out the Copyright Information on the file Abvictory.jpg for the "Amazin' Blue" article. I was told to forward permission from the photo owner or the file would be deleted. I did indeed forward that permission to the specified address. The file was deleted anyway. I uploaded it again. I was asked to stop doing that. I would greatly appreciate being told very explicitly what it is I need to do because I feel like I've been complying with everything so far.

Andypoe (talk) 23:26, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

There is no copyright information on the file's page whatsoever. That's why it is going to be deleted yet again. Eeekster (talk) 01:01, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Re:File permission problem with File:Eucharistic Adoration at Yulee UMC.png

Hello User:Eeekster, I hope this message finds you doing well. I wanted to alert you that I believe you mistakenly tagged File:Eucharistic Adoration at Yulee UMC.png since the OTRS Ticket Numbers associated with the image are 2015052810027561 and 2015052810028301 (they have now been merged). I would appreciate if you could kindly remove your template from the file and allow the image to be processed. Thank you, AnupamTalk 01:42, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello, OTRS has received verification regarding the permissions of the file mentioned above. I have updated the file information page to reflect the OTRS submission. Thanks, Nakon 02:08, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

Citations on the RD-0110 engine article

I would like you to explain to me what's missing in citations in the article. If you read the first entry you'd know that it was just a first version of the article and I was in the process of improving it. Now I've added all the citations that I believe that are needed and would request that you take out the citation needed reference or give a more exact explanation of what's missing in citations. Every single paragraph ends with citations and adding more would be, frankly, distracting. Baldusi - Talk 17:13, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

Re:File source problem with File:Alert Ready Logo.jpg

"Thank you" for the notice. I'm not sure why the file[1] (which was already, and still is, pending deletion) needs another notice that it may be deleted? Why does a file pending deletion need a license/source again? It's being deleted.

--CoolCanuck (talk) 22:04, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

Because the one problem might be corrected while the other issues remains. Besides, the no source tag will result in a quicker deletion. Eeekster (talk) 22:20, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
