Rice Valley Wilderness
Hello,
I endorsed your PROD tag for Rice Valley Wilderness. Just fyi, the user is creating a lot of similar pages (see [1]). Do you think an AfD for all of them would be a good idea?
Uberaccount (talk) 03:13, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, I know about the other pages. I'm hoping the PROD gets the message across to him. Eeekster (talk) 03:35, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hey, just letting you know I cleaned up the article and removed the PROD - you weren't wrong in that the pages he's creating are pretty broken and in current state are deserving of PROD, but they are existing designated wilderness/wildlife protected areas in California, so over the next day, I'll take up the task of cleaning them up and giving them at least enough sourcing to represent a stub. polarscribe (talk) 07:18, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Vandalism tagging
You are correct, I only tagged it as vandalism given the content (the word "poo") of the article created at Patcham Fawcett at the same time. Thanks for the pick up. --kelapstick(bainuu) 07:06, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
I want to include a picture of her from the original Poltergeist as that's the film she's most known for. I disagree with having the Poltergeist III picture there just because it shows her closest to her death. We don't use one of the pictures of Cary Grant taken hours before his fatal stroke, do we? Lisence
The copyright holder SexyOVW released the photo under the Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 Generic (CC BY-SA 2.0) lisence and its also in the description of the photo. --Miss X-Factor (talk) 22:05, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- No, the copyright owner is not the person that captured the image from his TV. And please take any discussion of this to the deletion discussion page. Eeekster (talk) 22:09, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

Hey friend
Bailar Contigo, the song was released yesterday, the other week will be on the Colombian charts. It had a strong radial diffusion... Please WAIT!
- You are the one that should be waiting. Come back if it hits the charts. Eeekster (talk) 03:53, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

This photo was given to me personally by Erick Miller. I have permission to use it on Wikipedia. I thought I included this statement with the upload.
Please tell me what I need to do so you will dismiss your removal request.
Thank you, 301man (talk) 05:59, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Erick Miller Photos
Hello again Eeekster: I am the owner of the photos I post on Wikipedia. I'm new here and learning. This is the second time I uploaded images and obviously, I did not do it the same way I did it before. I take full responsibility. Please remove your delete notices. Much appreciated. File:ABRAS Logo.jpg
Sorry for my very slow response but keep myself up to date of this wikipedia article is not my main job. We had previously this conversation on april: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Eeekster/Archives/2013/April#File:ABRAS_Logo.jpg About your question, that unofficial logo was posted in the facebook page of the Observatorio Astronómico de Córdoba (http://bit-ly/1871OAC). The publication was made in september last year: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=429864983726158&set=pb.108460115866648.-2207520000.1368037868.&type=3&src=http%3A%2F%2Fsphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-ak-frc3%2F375905_429864983726158_1594916338_n.jpg&size=960%2C554 Now, I see that the image was already deleted. What should I do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arielz77 (talk • contribs) 18:37, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
I really don't understand this, as I clearly explained that these are third-party images of old sketches drawn by Lexus designer Sotiris Kovos in 1997. There is no way to retrieve these images from the original source, as they were first released in 2000 as part of online press release and promotional materials for the 2002 Lexus SC 430. The original images were removed from any Toyota Motor Corporation websites over a decade ago and this is the only source that has them now. I am not in the position to ask a large corporation about 16 year old images they've likely long lost interest in and only already provided them for public use upon introduction of that vehicle. What is even suggested that I even do in this case, especially that it's not even the property of the sketcher himself? My intentions were only to provide more information on the design.---Carmaker1 (talk) 07:21, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- So you just make up a license without permission instead? Eeekster (talk) 07:52, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) This post shows a fundamental misunderstanding of copyright, and how Wikipedia works. We respect copyrights on here; we only allow images which are available under a free license. Period. You will need permission otherwise. Magog the Ogre (t • c) 00:57, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
File:RajoyLaMoncloaOfficial-cropped.jpg
Regarding the license issue, I'm mostly lost here. [This image] is just the same that [this one], which is already uploaded. My intention was to crop it so as to make it adaptable to the election articles, but aside from that, it is the very same image, just cropped. Issue is, I think I'm not sure which license should I use for the image in this context, since I can't use the same one from the uncropped file. I already put links in the image description leading to both the full uploaded image and to the source site of the image, but aside from that, I'm not sure of which license should be used in this case. I would appreciate some help or advise in this issue. Thank you in advance. Impru20 (talk) 00:26, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
File: DanPflugFT.jpg
The reason you flagged my images uploaded, including DanPflugFT.jpg and others, says that it was for blatant copyright infringement, which it's not. The upload clearly says that I have permission from the authors and have uploaded it in the public domain with no copyright. Furthermore, I am not copyright infringing on the band in anyway because I know them and they have no means to afford copyrights. The pictures and logos by them will see no watermarks or copyright images and I would appreciate it greatly if you removed all alerts on my pictures. Thank you.
- Clearly says you have permission? Really? I sure don't see that. And one does not have to pay for a copyright to own one; it comes when the image is created.

Reply: File:DanPflugFT.jpg
So I went to the choice "File was given to me by its owner" in the upload, I explained the reason why, told explicitly that the owner has sent an email to permissions-en@wikipedia.org, and gave the evidence for free use. If that's not grounds for fair use, I don't know what is. It might not say that in the photo description, but it sure does in the upload form if you are able to view that. If it's not fair use somehow, please guide me to the right choices so that if you delete them for about the 4th time, I can get them on there in the right way. Nirvanafanatic619 (talk) 21:45, 11 May 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nirvanafanatic619 (talk • contribs)
- Fair use? I think you need to do some reading up on what that term actually means. And if you aren't going to sign your posts here, please stop postin. Eeekster (talk) 03:12, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
Lagisatu.com
Hi there, I am the author of Lagisatu.com and I hope you would reconsider deleting this. I went through and cant seem to locate any promotional text and it is a reputable new brand in South east Asia as evidence from the citation and media coverage it receives. A quick google will show you a few news in English, Thai, Russian, and Arabic language. I would appreciate your advise and guidance in this issue. Thanks Mohdfaeez (talk) 09:53, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

I sent an email to the address you provided. I included the email of the author of the photograph in question. I'm fairly new at this so I apologize if I did something wrong. Tweakofnature (talk) 20:33, 17 May 2013 (UTC)

We demand that you update our Wiki entry to say "Private University" - our true classification - and stop labeling us a for-profit career college. We will not hesitate to subpoena all of your true identities again in federal court. We've already been assisted in bringing down the Controversy section of our page due to our cyber-stalkers spreading lies about us. Just because our investors are Mormon does not mean we are a Mormon school. Dear Eekster,
I created the file and photo File:YingZhuChineseMediaScholarHeadShot.jpg entirely myself. I am thus the owner of the file and the owner of the photo.
I am not comprehending the concern about ownership that you 'talk'-ed to me about. I am trying to be difficult, I seriously do not understand.
Help me resolve this. The procedure for resolving it is unclear to me
thanks, User:Alh95014 email: ALH95014@yahoo.com Alh95014 (talk) 00:32, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- We cannot just take your word for that because the image has already been published elsewhere. Please follow the procedure in the notice. Eeekster (talk) 00:37, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
OKAY to delete the photo uploads
Eeekster,
I received a notice from you on my talk page, re OTRS permission for a photo upload. I passed on the notice to the proper person, who is supplying that permission to OTRS. Please check back in the near future.
Thanks, Nelsondenis248 (talk) 03:45, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Eeekster, I spoke with the author and he prefers not to go through with the OTRS process. I would therefore like to delete the photos in question, but do not know how to do this. Please feel free to delete all three of these uploads: [2], [3], [4]
- Otherwise we can simply allow the time to lapse, and the photos will be routinely deleted next week. Thanks again, Nelsondenis248 (talk) 04:19, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Eeekster, I saw your Speedy Deletion notice on my Talk Page, and that's a good thing. Please feel free to Speedy Delete the other two, as well. Thanks for your assistance! (and sorry for any extra bother).
- All best, Nelsondenis248 (talk) 09:33, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I declined your speedy A7 tag of this article. It wasn't enough of a clear-cut case, because the ref section linked to the city's news article about them. You might be right, but they aren't complete nobodys. Take it up at WP:AFD. Thanks, JamieS93 07:06, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Please explain to me how a website and some local news items meets the notability requirements? Eeekster (talk) 07:36, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
About File:Mohammad Abbasi.jpg
Hi! You recently nominated this picture for deletion. As I know, images uploaded from Agencia Brasil are free to upload in wikipedia due to Brazilian copyright law. Please check it. Thanks. Tabarez (talk) 07:09, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
- You say that they are free to upload, but how do we know that? Eeekster (talk) 15:29, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
- You can found your answer here. Tabarez (talk) 17:19, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
ITL
I reverted your edit of my inclusion of ITL reference to Into The Lifestyle - it is in fact a correct acronym for that community and seeing as it is one of the worlds largest of its type it should reside here as it is in reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamcind123 (talk • contribs) 19:12, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
