Mediation
[edit]Hello Ee60640... I'm Redwolf24 and I am the chair of the mediation committee. I regret to inform you that we are swamped with cases, and every mediator on our committee is busy. However there's good news. WP:TINMC is a mediation alternative. If you're interested in mediation still, file there. Redwolf24 (talk) 00:19, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
Mediation on The Andy Griffith Show dispute
[edit]Hi there! As a member of the Mediation Cabal, I've taken care of mediation on the issues regarding The Andy Griffith Show. I've already filled myself in the details, but before proceeding, I'd like everyone interested to offer me a (very) brief view of the core dispute. Any suggestions and thoughts will be heeded. Regards and hugs, Shauri smile! 23:51, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
Andy Griffith Show Characters
[edit]Hi, thanks for adding the pictures for the Otis & Floyd pages. Where did you get them? Can you add some more? I've completed Helen Crump, Gomer Pyle and The Darlings. I don't know all the rules about copyright laws and whatnot regarding pictures, or I'd do it myself. Thanks. Wavy G 05:07, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks again.Wavy G 15:19, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey, just FYI, I uploaded some pictures for the Gomer Pyle and Goober Pyle pages. I read up on the Fair Use policies and I think I'm okay with these. If you get a chance, check them out, (the former is a screen shot, and the latter is most likely a publicity photo--according to what I read, these are fair use). If you see a problem with these, could you let me know? Thanks. Wavy G 06:11, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
Sounds good. There's a bunch of pics on Google Images, but as far as Goober, they were mostly from when George Lindsey was much older, and just wearing the "Goober" cap (not really befitting the character article, I thought). I saw another one that was good, but it appeared to be from some sort of collector's card, which, according to what I read about fair use, that's no good (unless the article is about the card itself--am I wrong here?).
A good "Gomer" pic was also a hard find, except for publicity shots for Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., which I didn't want to use because I really feel like a picture from TAGS is more appropriate for this article (pics for Goober Pyle USMC would really only be appropriate for the article about that show).
If you find anything better, please replace them. I'll keep looking too. Wavy G 08:52, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
What's the **Real** name of that band?
[edit]I saw you posted on the talk page for Ramones that ant real fan know that the band name does not have the article "The". Can you back that up? I've had a heated discussion with my roommate over this, and still he won't accept my argument. [sebsmoot] 20:22, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Rubylabel.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Rubylabel.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 21:58, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Possibly unfree File:IMG MONT 0686.JPG
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:IMG MONT 0686.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.
- Ridiculous, I took this photo in Italy. I released it to the public domain. There is nothing I am aware of that would make this "unfree" or in need of deletion. Ee60640 (talk) 22:19, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'll close the discussion, from the comments there that would have happened anyway. Thanks for getting back. :) Cheers, Amalthea 22:42, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Ee60640! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 272 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:56, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
