A statement in the voice of Wikipedia that someone is a "multiple prize-winning American author, arts critic, and educator" is peacock language because reasonable opinions may disagree as to what are significant awards. Statements such as "His approach to criticism is grounded in a commitment to the value of deep personal empathy with creative artists and their imaginative worlds" require attribution.
