Request reason:
I have written on Edwardvoly to ask for an unblock and have decided to outline it here as well - this is a sockpuppet of Edwardvoly but I created it after vandalism on Edwardvoly and have not intended to return to Edwardvoly since then, thinking that this would be a clean start. I would highly appreciate it if I could be unblocked please! I will never again make unconstructive edits, as I now take my responsibility seriously. Edward1612 (talk) 07:02, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You've made an unblock request on both this and your other account. That shows you still don't understand WP:SOCK. Yamla (talk) 11:21, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
Hello. Thank you for coming back to me. I understand that I shouldn't have made a request on both accounts. The only reason I did was that I thought I had done something wrong in asking for an unblock on one of them and thus decided to use the other in case you did not receive my first request. I had also read somewhere that I should ask for an unblock on the account which "owned" the sockpuppet https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Guide_to_appealing_blocks#Sockpuppetry_blocks says " Users confirmed or believed to have engaged in the practice must request unblock at their main account.", which I thought was my initial account - i.e. Edwardvoly. I now promise never again to touch Edwardvoly and I will make sure that I will only make constructive edits on this account. I, of course, realise that my use of Edwardvoly for vandalism was inappropriate but the present situation is not "bad hand and good hand" but just a clean start which I never intended to misuse. So please can you unblock me, and I will promise to be a rules-abiding Wikipedian. I have been asked to say whether I have a connection with the subject of my article. Yossi Zivoni was my violin teacher a few years ago. I also edited Edward Tomanek, which happens to actually be me (please note that I did not actually want to be on WP, as I outlined in Edwardvoly).I know I maybe shouldn't edit articles about myself, but I just decided to add some content (which has, of course, now been removed). I admit that in the past I either unwittingly, or out of abuse of responsibility, have broken some Wikipedia rules. So, thank you again for considering my appeal and for giving me some advise.Edward1612 (talk) 19:14, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
Accept reason:
I have reviewed the unblock request, the editing history, and an e-mail that the editor sent to the Arbitration Committee. Based on my review, I accept that the posting of unblock requests on both accounts resulted from a good-faith misunderstanding of the instructions. I am unblocking on the understanding that the editor will edit only from this account going forward, and will do his best to follow all relevant policies and guidelines. - To help with assessing your unblock request, please say whether Do you have any personal connection to the subject of any of the articles you have edited, such as being the person who is the subject of an article, working with or for the subject of an article, being a friend of such a person, etc. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:14, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
@Yamla: I understand the rationale for your previous unblock but I believe the editor has now explained this aspect of the situation. @JamesBWatson: I have addressed your concern with the editor. If either of you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Regards, Newyorkbrad (talk) 15:12, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
@Newyorkbrad: Hello there. This is just to say thank you for unblocking me a few weeks ago. However, (although everything was fine up until now), it seems as if I am blocked again. When I try to access editing mode for any page, the block notice I saw before is still there. I know I haven't done anything wrong as I haven't made any edits at all since I was unblocked. Is this an error or have I been blocked intentionally? Edward1612 (talk) 06:57, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- I'm sorry—that is my fault: I said I was unblocking this account, but I forgot to actually do it. I've just taken care of it, so you should be all right to edit now. Please remember, just one account please, and do your best to follow the editing policies and guidelines. Regards, Newyorkbrad (talk) 09:54, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
