Re: All Whites

[edit]

Regarding your edit reversion on the page New Zealand national football team - the edit was made as I personally feel the version you reverted to worked less as an encylopaedia article, and more of a collection of statistics. While these are useful, hence why I put them on New Zealand national football team results, putting them on the main article made it very unreadable and cluttered. I attempted to ensure the major information was still present through smaller, summary tables such as "Major tournament participation".

I put this up for discussion on the associated talk page, with no feedback. If you'd like to discuss this, I'd be more than happy to do so on Talk:New Zealand national football team so that a consensus that serves everyones best interests. Cheers :) Gialloneri (talk) 04:55, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Peru national football team article size

[edit]

I removed the section with the scores of Peru due to the article size being a tad too much (the 1 kb it includes makes the article "too long"). I know the chart is good, and it serves an important purpose; but that's why I included it in the article specific for Peru in the world cup.--[|!*//MarshalN20\\*!|] (talk) 22:28, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent contributions to the Peru NT, and other discussions

[edit]

You've done an excellent job in the Peru football NT page. I'm going to soon nominate the article for FA status (possibly the first for South American football in Wikipedia), but the current problem now is the size of the article.

I would like to edit the section of "Current Manager" (Jose del Solar) and the results you posted in the page. I would like to reduce the amount of games you show in order to simply show the 2009 results. Then, I would like to copy the whole chart (2007, 2008, and 2009 results) and put it in the Managers of Peru page (which has already been made).

However, I would like to have your approval on this matter since you're the creator of the chart. Or, if you have other ideas, I would also like to hear them. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.--[|!*//MarshalN20\\*!|] (talk) 17:16, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Eduardo. I'll only remove the 2007 and 2008 results (I've already put them on the Managers page, here Managers of the Peru national football team). The 2009 results are going to stay, and you can keep adding more to the 2009 results. Thank you again.--[|!*//MarshalN20\\*!|] (talk) 17:43, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chelsea F.C. season 2009-10

[edit]

I seen that you had recently tried to add the FA Community Shield to the clubs Apps and Goals table. The reason these numbers are not recorded is for the fact that the match essentially is irrelevant as apps and goals tallied in this match do not count towards the players career total apps and goals. --Yunggunn2k3 (talk) 05:02, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2008 FIFA Club World Cup schedule has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The schedule is already included, in chronological order, in 2008 FIFA Club World Cup. This article itself therefore is lacking notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
