Destubathon
Hi. thanks for your contributions towards the challenge. I'm running Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon from October 15 to November 27 which needs contributors. Before it starts contestants will be asked if they want articles done for it to also count towards the 10,000 challenge, and it's also a chance to win some prizes for contributing towards the whole range of countries, so sign up at the destubathon if interested! Even if not interested in prizes, there will be the focus on destubbing anyway and hopefully people can still be a part of it.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:25, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

We'd like to invite you to participate in a user study closely related to SuggestBot. User:Another Article is seeking to understand more about the workflow and time commitment of contributors to the English Wikipedia. The intended length of the study is two weeks, but your actual time commitment is totally up to you. If you would like to see more details you can read the project proposal at Research:Measuring editor time commitment and workflow (on meta), but if you are feeling bold and would like just like to sign up right now you can add the line importScript("User:Another_Article/workflowstudyclient.js");

If you have any spare time, I would suggest working on the Anthony Stover article. Stover was one of the top NBL Canada players from last season and his page has a good image. He was a four-star recruit and played at UCLA, so there are a lot of sources about him available online. TempleM (talk) 21:27, 11 October 2016 (UTC)

DYK for Billy White (basketball)
On 26 October 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Billy White (basketball), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that basketball player Billy White started in the most games in San Diego State history? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Billy White (basketball)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

A barnstar for you!

Superb effort yesterday, really impressive. You're producing some great articles, particularly on Benin and Niger. Keep up the great work! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:42, 28 October 2016 (UTC) |
I was just wondering whether you could take another look at the FA nomination for this article. One reviewer left an "oppose" mainly because the tone was strange for a basketball bio. You have a lot of experience with basketball-related articles, so I strongly recommend you to give your input on the issue. TempleM (talk) 21:25, 28 October 2016 (UTC)
DYK for Anthony Stover
On 29 October 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Anthony Stover, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Anthony Stover. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Anthony Stover), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
