To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
[edit]Your additions violate multiple policies. You are adding text in violation of copyright. Your addition is not in keeping with BLP policy. Please do not re-add this material. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 04:23, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- It's not Wikipedia, it's you. All statements of fact require reliable source references. In addition, there is a higher standard for biographies of living people. Secondly, copyright-protected content cannot be added to articles. That type of information needs to be paraphrased (and referenced). There IS an allowance for quoting content verbatim. Many new editors find their edits reverted because of rules such as these. In time, experience results in a higher success rate. David notMD (talk) 11:25, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
