Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Editmaster429, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page MALIK (fraternity), seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, please see:

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at MALIK (fraternity), you may be blocked from editing. Drmies (talk) 00:54, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at MALIK (fraternity). You really need to address that conflict of interest--and yes, adding what are basically spam links is promotional editing. Drmies (talk) 00:57, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Editmaster429. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 00:55, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
