Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy, which is summarized here.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. 331dot (talk) 16:52, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I was blocked due to my previous username (MetrolinkInsights) resembling the name of an organisation. I did not choose this username for promotional editing purposes. It was an honest mistake. I intend to contribute to a specific topic on Wikipedia that is shown in my previous username, but I understand now that this username does not comply with the username policy, and will not make the mistake again. UPDATED I see now that my username has been changed, but I remain blocked from editing. Please can I be unblocked as my username complies with the username policy?

Accept reason:

Thank you very much. Eccentral8688 (talk) 14:54, 4 April 2024 (UTC)}}[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fitzalan Square tram stop, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Halfway tram stop. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 20:07, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fitzalan Square tram stop moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Fitzalan Square tram stop. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. scope_creepTalk 11:21, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:South Yorkshire Supertram stops on the Yellow Route indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. plicit 13:07, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for doing that, and I'm sorry I (effectively) published it without checking its notability. I'll try and find more sources. Eccentral8688 (talk) 21:34, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
