VFA

[edit]

Thanks for the recognition. It's been a fascinating experience getting involved in some VFA research, particularly the off-field stories – on-field may be where the action happens, but off-field is where the real history lies. I saw an open call on your site for Division 2 scores over 250, so I'll keep an eye open for you as I work my way through the season summaries for the 70s and 80s. I can tell you that I haven't seen any that high yet up to 1975 (a couple of 236s and a 241, but nothing over 250); but I did notice you are missing one top division throw-pass era high score from the table: Port Melbourne's 43.29 (287) against the amateur wartime Sandringham in 1941. Let me know if there are any other match records you want me to keep an eye out for as I peruse the rest of the D2 seasons over the next few months. Aspirex (talk) 12:24, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
