Request reason:
I was not trying to vandalize, I was going to revert the changes directly after making them. My teacher wanted us to use wikipedia for an assignment, so I wanted to show him the dangers of that. EastDavidson (talk) 12:45, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You were clearly trying to vandalise. Harming Wikipedia to make a point is a violation of WP:POINT. Your block is appropriate. Yamla (talk) 12:48, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- What you did was absolutely not okay. I'll leave this unblock request for another admin to review, since this is the right thing to do in order to be fair to you and so you'll receive a review by a completely neutral third party; if the reviewing administrator supports unblocking you, they're welcome to do so and without my input, permission, or blessings in advance. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 12:50, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
I was not thinking clearly about the "proving a point" thing. Upon reviewing the page you (Yamla) have linked to me, I know understand that what I did was wrong. Because of this, I don't want to appeal for an unblock, but perhaps a shortened period? I am/have been working on trying to get actual, informative articles up. I don't want to ruin that with one stupid mistake.; EastDavidson (talk) 12:56, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Accept reason:
I'm going to go out on a limb here, and I'm going to take your word for it, and grant your unblock request. I'm probably going to receive some grief from other admins for doing this for you, but I hope that you appreciate that I'm giving you a second chance when users typically aren't. Please do not make disruptive edits like you did earlier, and please contribute positively to the project. I hope I don't regret this decision, and I hope you show me that I won't. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 12:59, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- Your account is now unblocked. If any shenanigans continue like what you were doing earlier, you'll be re-blocked without any kind of warning. I went out of a limb for you, man... I hope that you take advantage of the opportunity you've been given and that you become an experienced editor and member of the community. Stay outta trouble! :-) Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 13:01, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
