Your class project

[edit]

Hi. Welcome, again, to Wikipedia. While doing "New Page Patrol" - an unofficial but useful activity where ordinary editors with time on their hands look at incoming articles and flag those that need improvement or deletion - I came across Smith Hall (Anderson Univ.) and in looking into it read your note to Absolon. (This may seem like eavesdropping, but one of Wikipedia's strengths is that nothing is private!) Expanding on his reply, useful guidelines to point your students to are Notability and Verifiability, the guide to writing Your First Article, and the List of Bad Article Ideas (especially no.4 in the list: "your dormitory"!) You yourself might also like to look at Wikipedia:School and university projects. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 09:29, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
