Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:UACES, from its old location at User:EU explained/UACES. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 23:33, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

EUobserver

I'd like to thank you for your work done on this article. My objection and reason for listing at AfD was the lack of external sources. Wikipedia relies far too much on blogs that are thinly disguised as legitimate media and these need to be rooted out. These sorts of publications often use Wikipedia as a source of good incoming links to raise their page-rank, increase traffic, and make more money.

If EUobserver is as well-regarded as you say, then it's fine. You appear to have !voted twice. Perhaps you could make one a comment on the other, so as not to mislead any admin looking to close this? --Pete (talk) 06:53, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My accommodation is used by several other university students, who all also have the same IP, and are active on wiki. I live in shared accommodation.

Decline reason:

This does not account for the similarity in username with Euexperttime (talk · contribs), nor does it account for the significant overlap in articles. This is a clear violation of WP:SOCK. Yamla (talk) 10:36, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

My cohabiter is euexperttime. We live in shared accommodation at university. We both study EU affairs and are working on a collaborative wiki project on the European Schools. This came about through a discussion with her counsellor as a way to overcome her reclusiveness after the death of her mother, by collaborating to wikipedia. Though I understand the need for caution, this unblock request is an invasion of our privacy and frankly humiliating. Nor, do I see any real reason you can deny it, that won't come across as frankly, heartless. In truth she has been devastated by the decision, and I cannot get her out of her room to see the counsellor. Shame on you.

Decline reason:

Wikipedia is not therapy. There's clearly a sockpuppetry situation here; if you want to call it meatpuppetry instead, go for it, but there's no reason to unblock this account. only (talk) 12:17, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

So you are intentionally blocking collaboration between two real world users? You have no written policy on this, and WP:SOCK does not cover this. If two users are using separate accounts and collaborating on the same articles from the same IP, how do you differentiate this from real abuse? I look forward to an apology and the reinstatement of this account. If not, I would like to speak to someone more senior than a here-today-gone-tommrow admin in the wiki universe. You are truly a sick person to do this. You are right. Wikipedia is not therapy, however, it is a place where users can contribute meaningfully. You have stopped this on jumped up charges, and there is apparently no ability to seek recourse for this. You have also placed an indefinite ban on this IP. You admin policy needs to be revisited immediately.

Decline reason:

A checkuser verified this was a sock account, not just meatpuppetry. Additionally resorting to insults in an unblock request really will not make your case better. Please bear in mind future request that are seen as disruptive may result in the loss of talk page privileges. RickinBaltimore (talk) 12:51, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

You are an unaccountable admin, unless you are willing to provide me with your real world name and phone number? How would that checkuser differentiate between two real world humans collaborating side by side on a series of articles? Answer that! Your sock puppet policy doesn't account for it in the slightest. I also notice you provided no details of who to talk to in the wiki foundation for recourse, whereas one of your users dismissed the problems of my friend euexpertime, who recently lost her mother, which was deeply deeply insulting. You, if I may say, are totally unaccountable, totally anonymous, and inflexible which is a fair description of the admins on here isn't it? Still, do you have any suggestion of how to remedy this, or are you going to remain unhelpful, inflexible and intransigent.

Decline reason:

After stripping out the unpleasantness and irrelevances, nothing is left that would constitute a valid appeal. On your subsidary question, if you wish to complain then you can email: arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org and it will be routed appropriately. Finally, since your talk page access has been removed,

any further appeals would need to be sent through WP:UTRS. Just Chilling (talk) 20:28, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
