"WTF"
[edit]I changed Whiskey Tango Foxtrot back into a redirect, since it was just a dictionary def. If you disagree, feel free to change it back, but do it only if you think the article can be more than one or two sentences. Wikipedia discourages creating pages that are only a definition. The ikiroid (talk·desk·Advise me) 01:39, 11 April 2007 (UTC) P.S. You may want to add your definition to the WTF page. The ikiroid (talk·desk·Advise me) 01:40, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:BrigidBrannagh.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:BrigidBrannagh.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:38, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:TaunWe shot.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:TaunWe shot.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:18, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
Image's deletion from the article was highly suspect; I've reinstated the link for now (so it's no longer orphaned). Erobson (Talk) 05:14, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:BrigidBrannagh.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:BrigidBrannagh.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Cirt (talk) 17:57, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 30
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Timeline of the Mongol Empire, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zhongdu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
[edit]Hello, ERobson. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
