Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... (My intentions are to give scholarly articles and research that will surely enhanced the Wikipedia experience for all. I was not aware that I could not post about places where I have serve, in order to achieve more credibility. Moreover, the fact that two of my post had been censored showed that I was not even given the opportunity prior to this request to speedy deletion.) --E.R. Báez (talk) 23:17, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
- Posting things on your User page and talk page does not benefit Wikipedia. If you want to post your resume, personal analysis, beliefs or other ideas, there are other venues to do so. This is not the place. S0091 (talk) 23:40, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
Purpose of userspace pages
[edit]This page is your user talk page. The purpose of this page is for other Wikipedia users to leave notifications for you, and engage in discussions with you about your edits.
Your userpage is at User:E.R. Báez. The purpose of that page is for you to post a limited amount of personal information, as well as your interests and goals as they relate to editing Wikipedia. This is further explained in Wikipedia's userpage guidelines.
Neither of these pages are primarily intended for use as workspaces for the development of articles. There are two other spaces that are meant for that purpose:
- Your user sandbox at User:E.R. Báez/sandbox. This is a page where you can practice editing and develop article content.
- The draft article space. This is where you can construct a draft article, then submit it for review by uninvolved editors. The most common starting point for this space is the WP:Article wizard.
Hopefully this has helped explain the distinction between these pages and their respective purposes. Good luck. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:41, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
