Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 13:05, 8 July 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your message on my talk page. I am sorry that the message you received has discouraged you. Wikipedia has quite a strict policy on conflicts of interest due to the number of people who try to promote themselves, their websites or their businesses inappropriately here. As the message above says, if you feel the link to your website contains valuable information for wikipedia, then it is recommended that you go to the talk page of the appropriate article and suggest it there, and then neutral editors can add it to the article if they agree. Wikipedia works by consensus, so the idea is to engage with other editors and work together to improve the project. I hope you will consider doing so. Thanks, Melcous (talk) 03:20, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
