Cleric
[edit]The Japanese Wikipedia article on Kiva as a whole has this phrase: "モチーフは聖職者。" This is "Motif is seishokusha" which is at ja:聖職者 which leads to en:Clergy, of which you have "clergymen" or "clerics." This is not パラディン which is "paradin" or "paladin" which is something very different.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 06:47, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
This also comes from one of the various Japanese television magazines. I am not sure which one at the moment.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 06:50, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Can you actually provide the sources for these magazines? That is the key issue here, not necessarily what it says since it can still be wrong. DynamoDT (talk) 07:17, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I stuck "モチーフは聖職者" into Google and the things that do show up say that it comes from one of the magazines (Terebikun, Figure-Oh, Hyper Hobby) and they also list the Christian cross as a motif. What I know they do not say is that he's a paladin.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 06:19, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- I checked the history of Japanese wiki article on Kiva and the motifs appeared in that page on July 10th. The editor mentioned something about Spacecraft. Any idea what that is? DynamoDT (talk) 08:17, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I know that they do not like adding information until it is a month after it appears in the series. I don't know why "Spacecraft" is mentioned, though.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 21:01, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
