Orphaned non-free image File:Svoy Automatons U.S. Album Cover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Svoy Automatons U.S. Album Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 01:19, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:This is the Front Cover for the CD Pushing the World Away by the artist Kenny Garrett. The cover art copyright is believed to belong to Mack Avenue Records.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:This is the Front Cover for the CD Pushing the World Away by the artist Kenny Garrett. The cover art copyright is believed to belong to Mack Avenue Records.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification for October 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pushing the World Away, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Donald Brown (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Svoy
[edit]Hi!
Why you reverted my paragraphs and sections in Svoy? Without it it's almost unreadable for me and I guess a bit of chopping is needed for other people to easily find out interesting facts about him. - kocio (talk) 10:15, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
- Since you are not reacting for a few days, I get back past your revert. Please respond if you still think there should be no chopping. Regards! - kocio (talk) 00:11, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
Hi Kocio! Thanks for your contribution and good intention. I still think there should be no chopping to this article. Best, Dyadyavasya (talk) 03:53, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
- Hi again! But why do you think so? You did not even explain your action...
- That's what the paragraphs are made for - to make the long text more readable. If you can find some "particular point or idea", you can use it as a base for the paragraph. I was able (with easy) to find enough not only to make it, but also to make distinction between general description and specific achievements. What's wrong with clear, easy to read composition?
- You can look at many other bios (like for example Madonna) - there's also a lot of of things to read (like in Svoy article), but they're not "glued" together in just one paragraph. In any kind of encyclopedia it is important for user to find the fact she is interested in, but even in books the paragraphs are common way of dealing with very big flow of data.
- (Sorry for the delay, but I was not watching the subject and you did not respond me at my discussion page) kocio (talk) 18:42, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Trlovejoy. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Mikhail Tarasov without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Speedy deletion nomination of File:Svoy Press 2015.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Svoy Press 2015.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
Stefan2 (talk) 23:36, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kenny Garrett, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 08:32, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for your correction. Apologies about forgetting to cite. Kindly see below:
In early 2016, it has been rumored that Garrett is working on an electronic record with Universal Music Group producer/writer Svoy.[1]
Kindly let me know and thanks once again for your input!
Dyadyavasya (talk) 19:38, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
- I am striking the above message because I think your edit was not an intentional disruptive edit. Please note that Wikipedia policy is that rumors and speculation should not be included in articles. The inclusion of a source may in some circumstances make the edit acceptable but something more than rumor is necessary as well. I think only a comment, not a warning, is appropriate here. See Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Thank you. Donner60 (talk) 22:29, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Svoy. [edit]Hello, I'm SummerPhDv2.0. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Berklee College of Music alumni, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
