Fake Tales of San Francisco

[edit]

Hi Dwdmang,

First of all, welcome to Wikipedia from myself too.

I have reverted your edit at Fake Tales of San Francisco as the cover image you added is of the [[extended play|EP]] Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys and not "Fake Tales...". The guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject Songs regarding album songs suggest that if it has not been released as a single, it should not have any cover.

Give me a shout if you'd like to discuss this further.

Cheers, DJR (Talk) 23:38, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Change to Common.css

[edit]

Per recent discussions, the way in which Persondata is viewed by Wikipedia editors has changed. In order to continue viewing Persondata in Wikipedia articles, please edit your user CSS file to display table.persondata rather than table.metadata. More specific instructions can be found on the Persondata page. --ShakingSpirittalk on behalf of Kaldari 00:58, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On 15 August 2007, you made a request to the League of Copyeditors for a copyedit on Alec Empire. Because of a heavy backlog and a shortage of copyeditors, we have been unable to act on your request in a timely manner, for which we aplogize. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Alecempire-gottagetout.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Alecempire-gottagetout.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:13, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Queens of the Stone Age Taskforce

[edit]

I'd like to invite you to join the newly-formed taskforce Queens of the Stone Age|Queens of the Stone Age. There's alot of Queens of the Stone Age-related articles on Wikipedia that could use a little attention, and I hope this taskforce can help organize an effort to improve them. So please, take a look and if you like what you see, help us get this taskforce off the ground and a few Queens of the Stone Age pages into the front ranks of Wikipedia articles. Thanks! --Be Black Hole Sun (talk) 10:53, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Robot L.O.V.E.

[edit]

The article Robot L.O.V.E. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references, no claim of notability, fails WP:NSONG and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
