Logo standards

We are unable to use any of the logos you have uploaded, and I have continued to revert you for several reasons;

The standards of WP:TVS dictate whenever possible that only the logo element itself should be used within an article. There is absolutely no need for superfluous information at all such as tickers, time displays and other graphical flourishes. All we need is the logo.
Logo images must be in the .PNG and .SVG formats, as it is much easier to scale down in thumbnail form.
You place no image rationales to speak of in your images. Every image you upload must disclaim where it is from, what its use is and the proper fair use guidelines.
Also, we only allow free images of personalities such as anchors and on-air staff. This means a photograph by someone must be released under a proper license and only in very rare and select cases can a picture released by an organization itself be used in an article. Your CNBC personality pictures have been deleted for this very reason

These images will be continue to be reverted if you do not comply with our policies about images, and I advise you to take them in mind, or as seen above you may be blocked for continued copyright infringement. Thank you. Nate • (chatter) 19:02, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Thank you for uploading File:KareHD.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4.
