Dear Dwayne, I've noticed that you've reverted an edit which added {{fact}} to the article Hair weave. If you get time, could you please let me know why do you think it is vandalism? Cheers, Vipinhari || talk 03:54, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Why do you have this? It's useless to the encyclopedia and you can track files in your contribs. No need to clutter up categoryspace with your personal junk; dump in userspace, please. If you insist on keeping it without good reason, I'll MfD; otherwise, slap on a U1 tag, please. —fetch·comms 00:16, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- Because this Bot keeps telling me to categorize my photos and i have no where else to categorize them. Since you insist, i'll just leave my pics uncategorized and i've requested Category:User:Dwayne for deletion. - Dwayne was here! ♫ 01:01, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

The article BigTop has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Appears to fail notability guidelines, I cannot find significant coverage in reliable sources.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Chzz ► 02:03, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- Also, I added a proposed deletion on OpenGL Driver Monitor and OpenGL Profiler with the same reasoning, plus the comment This topic should probably be in an article about the driver itself, but as there is no referenced content, a merger seems pointless.. I didn't want to fill up your page with template notices, so I'm just writing this instead. Chzz ► 02:36, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Alhaji Ibrahim Shayi
Hello Dwayne. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Alhaji Ibrahim Shayi, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:08, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hm, maybe the article was updated after i tagged it. - Dwayne was here! ♫ 02:54, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- No, Dwayne, there were no changes after you tagged it. It was just a simple mistake on your part! Short articles are not the same as having insufficient context: in this case, it said who the person was (Alhaji Ibrahim Shayi), when they were born (September 14, 1958), and what they do (Chief accountant Ministry Of Local Government,Bauchi,Bauchi state of Nigeria). You just need to be more careful with your tagging, Dwayne! -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 07:47, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- It's lacking notability, so it has a greater chance of getting deleted anyways. But if you guys think not, then i'll just leave it as that. - Dwayne was here! ♫ 08:07, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- That may or may not be the case, Dwayne, but your criteria was not appropriate for that article, and so it was rightly declined. If you had tagged it as A7, it would likely be declined, as being the Chief accoutant is a claim of notability. If you think it should be deleted (and for what it's worth, unless sources can be found to show notability, it probably should be) then either PROD it or take it to AfD -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 08:17, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

- Actually, use quotes. Most of the sources are blurbs or listings and don't constitute significant coverage. This search shows some hits but most seem to be passing mentions and are all archived, anyway. Generally, high schools (secondary schools) are notable, but not middle or elementary (primary) schools. —fetch·comms 01:09, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

West Bend
Why did you revert? It was constructive, and I left an edit summary. Please explain. 174.102.202.179 (talk) 00:38, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- depicting sex and homosexuality , i figured that since you included homosexuality that it was vandalism, and you're correct i found some sources here saying that it in fact had included homosexual and heterosexual content. I thought the revision before your edit would be fine, but i went ahead and undid it as the information you provided is correct. Thanks for contributing to the encyclopedia. Cheers, - Dwayne was here! ♫ 00:47, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Again, Dwayne, you continue to revert without first examining to see if it's a valid edit. This is why you should consider this your final warning, due to several hasty and incorrect reverts over the past two weeks. I figure that since you can't be bothered to check if what you're reverting is real vandalism that you can't handle rollback. —fetch·comms 01:19, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
August 2010
- You are only supposed to use rollback in cases where it is a clear case of vandalism. The edits made by 99.191.228.101 at Mater_(Cars) were constructive not vandalism. Please be careful. Joel M. Chat ✐ 16:43, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- You reverted an edit at Tyrannosaurus that was not vandalism. The user (122.58.35.62) simply said "who is a dinosaur" because the photograph is of a dinosaur. If you disagreed with this edit, you should have changed it by hand, not used the rollback feature. -- Joel M. Chat ✐ 16:53, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- For Mater_(Cars) i believed it was vandalism because he was calling Mater a redneck (i didn't think it was constructive) the revision before was fine, even though I've seen the movie Cars before. For Tyrannosaurus while i was reverting i realized that it was constructive, then i clicked the red X at the top on Huggle and it said the reverting for Tyrannosaurus had been cancelled, i had no idea that it continued to revert. If it makes it any better, i undid the reverts for both articles. Cheers, - Dwayne was here! ♫ 17:41, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yea, the redneck bit, even if it's true, could have been worded better, but the intentions were not vandalism. Slow down when you judge the edits, I noticed there were others that you reverted that did not seem to be vandalism. If something is borderline or you spend a few moments not knowing if it's vandalism, then let it stay. The article's editors will fix it in due time. Sometimes when I see information added that is dubious, I leave the info, leave a warning on the user's talk page about citeing sources, then I add a {{fact}} to the passage. -- Joel M. Chat ✐ 17:51, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Rollback
Dwayne, please be more careful with the Rollback feature. There have been complaints again, and a cursory glance at your edits of the past few weeks shows that there have been significant errors of judgment. I notice that you've slowed down over the last few days, likely due to the thread on my talk page, but seriously - you're on your last chance here. If you have any doubt about using rollback on an edit, the safest option is don't. It's that simple. Oh, and one more thing; keep away from ED. You stated that you would and, quite frankly, you have attracted way too much of the wrong sort of attention. Trust me on that. We also say goodbye to Ian Rose (submissions), who withdrew earlier this month after spending six weeks overseas. Anyone interested in this round's results can see them here and here. Thank you to Stone (submissions) for these.
Signups for next year's competition are now open. Planning is ongoing, with a key discussion about judges for next year open.
