Capitol

Thanks for contributing your photo, File:Washington D.C. Trip 002.jpg. However I've restored the previous photo to the article. I think that readers are better served with an image that is less blurry. Image history

Hey Dwayne, I noticed that in this edit, you seem to want to get rid of the other image by uploading a new one. File history is just like the history of articles; when an edit is made, it overlaps the previous version, but it is still accessible by going through the history. Archiving your talk page

Dwayne, the 'bot takes up to 48 hours before archiving for the first time - if you want it to do it for you, give it a chance! Hi Phantomsteve, i was looking for a bot that archives monthly but it seems it only archives 1 day after a discussion hasn't been answered. I want a bot that will archive around the dates 30-31 at the end of the month. Dwayne was here! ^talk 21:56, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

Actually, you can set it to archive a thread x days after the last contribution to that thread, not just 1 day - for example I archive any threads that have had no replies in the last 7 days. However, I don't think any of the archiving 'bots can archive on a specific day of the month, which is what you seem to want. Just copy this code (I'm assuming you want a simple Archive1, Archive2, etc - well Archive3 onwards, as you already have 1 & 2!)

That will archive any threads which have had no reply in 7 days - and when the archive reaches 100K, the next archiving will increment the "counter" by 1 (so it'll save to Archive4 when Archive3 goes over 100K). Deletion of a template you created

Good day, I have deleted the template you created: Template:Disturbing, per the criteria for speedy deletion T2. This criteria includes the following:

• Templates that are unambiguous misrepresentations of established policy. This includes "speedy deletion" templates for issues that are not speedy deletion criteria and disclaimer templates intended to be used in articles. (Bold added to highlight the problem here.)

Disclaimers are not given in articles per consensus, you would need to gain community consensus on placing disclaimers in articles before such a template would be allowed, however this is unlikely to happen. See WP:NDT for more information on why we do not use disclaimers.
