[edit]Hello DutchDevil. I translated the Dutch article about Albert Eckhout to Albert Eckhout. Please have a look! -- Bakabaka (talk) 10:36, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
support for Cat:Fooians of Booian descent
[edit]DutchDevil, I see that you supported such a renaming for the sub-cats of Category:Brazilian people by ethnic or national origin. I could nt ask you for the same support again for some other countries at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2008 May 28? a precedent has been set to make the change over but the voting is a little to close for comfort with this particular nomination. Thanks a bunch, Mayumashu (talk) 18:24, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Defaultsort
[edit]I admired your handiwork in adding categories to Hieronymus van Beverningh. However, I had already added a defaultsort-rule, so you need not add the names to the categories. Saves some work:-)--Ereunetes (talk) 22:11, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Question
[edit]My Dutch friend, I have a question which I hope that you may provide some light into. My late stepfather, the person who raised me, was from Curaçao. His surname was Pop. Now, we have always assumed that he was of Dutch descent only because he came from Curaçao, however he always stated that he had German blood and therefore I am not sure if Pop is a Dutch or German surname. What do you think? Tony the Marine (talk) 05:46, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response. As for Luis R. Esteves, you are right and I was wrong in my assumption, my apologies. I think that my age is finally catching up with me (smile). I admit that I admire very much the great work that you are doing here. 02:29, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
Volleyball players
[edit]I have seen that you edited some volleyball articles. Some players articles, most of them looks outdated. I would like to improve players by country. Could you please choose a country to contribute with? Please take a look on Yekaterina Gamova, Hélia Souza, Serena Ortolani and Kenia Carcaces for a model to follow. Please can you please improve some volleyball players with infobox and some addons? References are very important. Let me know. Oscar987 22:37, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, don't worry. There's life outside wikipedia. Osplace 22:42, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called DutchDevil. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name DutchDevil~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

[edit]Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. I noticed that you always add the director and the writer(s) hours before the episode has been released. This is considered to be improperly sourced because it is not on the reliable source and the episode is yet to be released. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. They need to be corrected sometimes because the director and writer(s) that you put in hours before the episode has been released are wrong sometimes. IMDb and other user-based websites are not reliable sources. — YoungForever(talk) 17:08, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited World Mayor, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grigny. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
