Counterpath
[edit]Hello Dschultz16, and welcome to Wikipedia. If the goal is to create a new page, then there is really no need to restore the previous page first. However, I do have to let you know that Wikipedia strongly discourages people from create articles on companies where they work - see the guideline on conflicts of interest at WP:COI. I encourage you to find other subjects that may interest you and try editing them - we have plenty to choose from. Cheers.--Mojo Hand (talk) 01:41, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
April 27 Response
[edit]Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I completely understand re: the conflict of interest, which is why the short page will be fact-based with the invitation for others to add more educational pieces as it relates to VoIP technologies, unified communications and fixed-mobile convergence. In terms of creating the page, what is the best and easiest way to do this? I read several Wiki pages but was overwhelmed by the formatting/coding requirements, such as headings, superscripting references, hyperlinking to other Wiki pages, creating an information box, etc. I'm clearly a 'newb' as I thought I'd be able to cut and paste content from a Word document into a standard Wiki page template...Dschultz16 (talk) 17:37, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
