Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Fully automated GIS, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Yasht101 (talk) 08:19, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Surprise

[edit]

I am so surprise to know the page got deleted. It presents new knowledge and findings. It presents facts. I have put one reference to start with. I did indicate more details to come forward. I can understand that new knowledge and innovations may take time for people to know about or understand. I think that deleting it, without notifying the author and discussing and finding out the fact, is rather over-reacting. That is my humble opinion. Sincerely, Dr. Shaozhong SHI

  • "It presents new knowledge and findings." That is an admission that it is original research. There is no obligation for us to notify authors before deletion and in any case the article was so short it was hardly worth notifying you. We do what we like. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:02, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Drshishaozhong. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "First Ph.D Work on Tsunami in the UK".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/First Ph.D Work on Tsunami in the UK}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 16:02, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
