Hello, Drewmonda, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Duncan Turner, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted (if it hasn't already).

Speedy deletion of Duncan Turner

A tag has been placed on Duncan Turner, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay.   3. When trying to delete a page, veteran editors love to use a lot of rule acronyms. Don't let these acronyms intimidate you.
    Here is a list acronyms you can use yourself: WP:Deletion debate acronyms which may support the page you created being kept.
  4. You can vote to merge the article into a larger or better established article on the same topic.

This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://medtube.net/sels. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. (1) You are not blocked for violating copyright, you are, as explained above, blocked for violating Wikipedia's copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without evidence of permission. If you do own the copyright, then you need to show that you do, because Wikipedia's policy is that we do not simply accept the unsubstantiated word of anyone who comes along and creates a Wikipedia account. (That is not an academic point, as we very frequently get people falsely claiming to own copyright.) (2) Some of the content you have posted appears on medtube.net, with the notice "© 2009-2017 MEDtube". MEDtube's terms of use includes clauses forbidding users "to exercise personal copyrights in relation to the Files, comments and other content", and forbidding anyone "to download, broadcast or rebroadcast using any medium (including in particular vision and/or sound) or to make publicly available in any other manner the Materials placed on the MEDtube Portal without the written consent given by the Administrator". Does this mean that your content has been illegally posted to MEDtube, in violation of your copyright, or does it mean that you do have written consent given by the Administrator? If the former is the case, then you need to contact MEDtube to have the content removed, and if the latter is the case then you should easily be able to provide evidence of your written consent to the Wikimedia Foundation, and we can then restore the content you posted to Wikipedia.
