Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Drew Peacock, Esquire! I am Jack Merridew and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

fyi, i was just talking about an account named Drew. Regards, Jack Merridew 10:49, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I got your email, and it seems you've found your way to posting on my talk page. You should know that declaring one's self off limits to another editor is really not jake; this is a collaborative project and that includes efforts to ding the many trolls that abound ;) Sneers, Jack Merridew 18:57, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:19, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The account you created has been blocked indefinitely because its username is a blatant violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information). We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames, and trolling or other disruptive behavior is not tolerated. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I wrote my unblock request without knowing that there was a character limit. My unblock request is here: [| http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Andrew_Peacock ] Thank you for reading my longer than requested request. I only wrote at length because i took this seriously.

Decline reason:

You created an account with a different username, but it has the same problem. I have therefore blocked it. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:07, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Um, so you're admitting to WP:SOCK in your unblock request? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:31, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You aren't going to persuade us to let you break the username rules for us- it wouldn't work, because the next admin who wasn't here for the discussion would just block you again. The only way it works is for you to have a permissible username. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:08, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
