Image tagging for Image:Mamonotachi.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mamonotachi.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

License tagging for Image:Sm emerald.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sm emerald.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:08, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Your recent edit to Zatch Bell! Gekitou Saikyou no Mamonotachi (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. Thank your for your excellent work on destubifying Zatch Bell! Gekitou Saikyou no Mamonotachi. Unfortunately, the extensiveness of your edit and the fact that you do not have a main user page are conspiring against you, as it seems that your edit matches many otherwise valid criteria for vandalism. I have read the article through, so I know it is not, and I will continue to watch the page for a while to ensure that your work is not again percieved as vandalism.

Once again, great work, and keep it up! Locriani 02:45, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

After rereading the article, and the article talk pages, i would suggest a brief break from this particular article, so tempers can cool down. I'm sure your editing talents can be put to great use elsewhere, without as much struggle. Locriani 02:55, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sailor Moon characters

[edit]

Hello! This is a heads-up that an article you have created, Sailor Moon characters, is redundant due to the existence of Black Moon Clan. Any info you included which the latter article lacked will soon be merged in, and the "characters" article will become a redirect. Thank you for your contribution, and please check out WikiProject Sailor Moon, which is a dedicated group of Wikipedia users who work together on improving Sailor Moon articles. We'd love to see you there! --Masamage 01:13, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Rubeus.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rubeus.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. feydey 18:10, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:SHOOT.1 Front.jpg

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Beyblade OST1.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Beyblade OST1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:29, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:DQ Volume1.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DQ Volume1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:16, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

UFO Hunters

[edit]

I don't know what your intention was, but you cannot take word-for-word text from another website as you did History.com and put it here on Wikipedia as you did with the UFO Hunters (The History Channel) article. Doing go is a direct violation of copyright laws and violates Wikipedia copyright policy. You also changed the episode numbers for no legitimate reason as they were correct the first time. Welcome

[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, DranzerX13, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Shu (Blue Dragon) and Blue Dragon(anime), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted (if it hasn't already).

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 23:58, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Blue Dragon(manga)‎, you will be blocked from editing. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 04:17, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Blue Dragon anime/manga does NOT need its own article. It has an article, Blue Dragon which covers the source game and the related media, including the anime and manga, as well as an episode list. Please stop trying to create inappropriate new pages when you have already been warned multiple times that it is NOT appropriate and goes against existing consensus. Other anime/manga based on video games are generally covered in their video game articles, same as this one is. Only when there is a SIGNIFICANT difference are they split, and this one has no such difference. If you continue recreating this article under multiple names and against consensus, you will just get yourself blocked from editing all together. No, you do not have the "right" to create any article you want. This is not an appropriate article and it will continue to be deleted. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 04:26, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Blue Dragon(anime), you will be blocked from editing. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 04:56, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.   jj137 (talk) 05:28, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have been on wiki for a long time and I have never ever had this happen to me before. I have edited, created wiki pages before and this never happened. and about contacting an admin there is irc, which I have, irc does have a few wiki channels which I searched for on google. Please listen, I had a reason to recreate a Blue Dragon anime wiki page, I had a reason. I have looked on the original Blue Dragon wiki page and the anime and manga section needs work. Just because it started out as a video game does not mean it can't have it's own anime page. I mean...what is wrong with creating it, what is so wrong?!!! as long as I add references, external links and the such, what harm can it cause? All I wanted to do is improve the Blue Dragon wiki, then this happens to me.

Decline reason:

See Collectonian above. Content issues aside, if you disagree with other editors, you don't edit war about it. You talk to them. —  Sandstein  09:24, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I was going to say basically the same thing, but Sandstein beat me to the punch. One additional note, the correct thing to do in this case would have been to discuss your changes rather than arbitrarily forking an article that did not require such an action. In the future you may easily avoid such entanglements by talking with the other involved parties the first time the article is deleted, or when the first warning is received rather than waiting until you are blocked before deciding it might not be such a bad idea to discuss the matter. A 24 hour block is not something to sweat too badly, in cases like yours it is little more than an effort to get your attention. I suggest that when it has expired, you take your proposals for any changes to the Blue Dragon talk page rather than making broad scoped changes that other editors are likely to disagree with. Trusilver 09:32, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The block has expired, as you well know. Running around making threats to deliberately disrupt Wikipedia and continuing to make personal attacks against other editors is not the way to show you are ready to be a good contributer here. so it's ok for Collectonian to report to admin about something but i can't. She told me that she reported me to the admin for being inapropriate. She so called didn't break the rules, but when I tell her i'm going to tell an admin i'm the one that gets bashed at. Shows how much wikipedia cares when it comes to choosing admins.DranzerX13 (talk) 10:51, 29 December 2008 (UTC).[reply]

My notices here have nothing to do with any of that. What they are about is you making edits that mangled the page and about not bothering saying anything in the edit summary. Eeekster (talk) 11:04, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Shu (Blue Dragon), you will be blocked from editing. Eeekster (talk) 11:36, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What the...All i'm doing is making each character have their own page that describes both the video game/anime summary of them. The Bleach wiki, Naruto wiki, other wikis of my favorite anime have their own profile pages such as Naruto Uzumaki, Ichigo Kurosaki those are their own character pages. if their can be some from Naruto then I can with Blue Dragon. i'm not violating any rules. All i'm doing is just making profile pages right now.DranzerX13 (talk) 11:42, 29 December 2008 (UTC).[reply]

What do I have to do to create these character profiles without you admin deleting them? do I have to create these in my sandbox first then in the real page? I have created character profiles before on wikipedia and not once have they gotten deleted until I created one for Blue Dragon. I'm going to make these profiles to where we all will be happy. I'm a kind person and love to contribute. I suppose if I wanted to complain a certain user it would have been better to contact an admin about it instead of telling her I was going to. I'm not a bad person at all. All I wanted to do is make the Blue Dragon page better. I have no intentions on deleting templates making things blank, my intentions should be purely obvious that i'm just trying to add, change or edit the page. I will never, would never EVER ruin anything on wiki. I support wiki and i'm trying my best to help out. But with almost everyone here bashing on me and telling me I keep doing this wrong or that wrong, how do you expect me to act. I have the right to report someone if someone is abusing, mistreating, and or telling me i'm doing something wrong when I clearly know what i'm doing is not against wikipedia's rules.

When it comes to uploading images I use images with fair use. if I find an image from another website, I make sure if the image is ok to use before I upload it.DranzerX13 (talk) 12:19, 29 December 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Naruto Uzumaki and Ichigo Kurosaki are fictional characters with established real world notability. Shu is not. Every fictional character does not warrant their own article, in fact most do not. That you continue ignoring multiple experienced editors attempting to assume good faith and correct your behavior, presuming you don't know any better, is only showing that you just simply don't care about Wikipedia's guidelines and policies and does not support your claims that you want to be helpful. Also, your continued threats that you will report me to an admin are invalid as no one is abusing nor mistreating you. Correcting other editors is part of editing Wikipedia, when they are clearly in the wrong. And, considering you were just blocked by an admin, and that your pages were deleted by an admin, you should realize that there are admins watching this situation at

this point who would issue their own corrective notices as they feel is needed. Right now, the only one acting inappropriately is you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 15:28, 29 December 2008 (UTC) This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Blue Dragon. Fair use rationale for File:Metal Fight Beyblade logo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Metal Fight Beyblade logo.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Take a look here: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/File:BleachAnimeLogo.jpg

if its ok for the Bleach anime logo to be on wikipedia, then it should be ok for this logo as well. if this MFB logo gets taken down, then this is not fair. if list of Bleach episodes can have a logo up, then why can't list of Metal Fight Beyblade episodes have one as well? Bleach is an anime, so is Metal Fight Beyblade, so it should be fair for me to have that MFB logo up. DranzerX13 (talk) 21:21, 10 June 2009 (UTC).[reply]

I found another image of it, before I uploaded it, I had to get rid of most of the blank white background so the image wouldn't look so stretched out. other than that I didn't actually edit the size of the logo. Please don't delete this file, because of other List of episodes wikipedias have anime logos up, then this MFB logo should be kept, not deleted. I put a source link, all of that good stuff. Plus 4kids hasn't even dubbed that far into the show yet. False episode titles, and airdates are not tolerated on wikipedia, and I was just merely removing the false information. Also, you can't tell me that your going to prevent me from editing if the person who game me this warning is just someone with no username and just an IP address. Your addition to List of Metal Fight Beyblade 4D episodes has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. —Farix (t | c) 12:37, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your final warning. Do not add copyrighted text that originated form other websites or printed material without permission from the copyright holder as you did on List of Metal Fight Beyblade 4D episodes. Even if the text is translated from the original Japanese, it is still protected under copyright. —Farix (t | c) 23:17, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If the translated summaries are such a problem, then how come they've been up for two years without any problem? If TV Tokyo had a problem with it, they would've contacted wikipedia about it. Everything was fine until you came and started messing around with these pages I've made (which have been fine since I first made them. There are other admins out there besides you, whereas if they had a problem with it, they would've changed the pages long ago as well. DranzerX13 (talk) 14:03, 11 April 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Just because they was overlooked in the past doesn't mean that they are acceptable. In fact, all of the BB episode lists are in a mess and don't conform with other anime episode lists. I've already pointed to examples of what an episode list should look like, however, you have competently ignored those examples. Also, just because you original made the lists doesn't mean that the lists belong to you. By submitting content to Wikipedia, you agree to have that content edited "mercilessly" by other editors. Now I'm trying my best to straiten out the lists to conform to Wikipedia's standards and removing problem content, such as the copyvio episode summaries. But just because no one had intervened in the past doesn't mean the lists were acceptable. —Farix (t | c) 21:55, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I hate to say it Dranzer but Farix is right. I had this same argument with him and I ended up reading all the copyright pages. It is against the law no matter if they act on it or not. Sorry.

Also i've reverted your List of Metal Fight Beyblade 4D episodes (Season 3) edits. It is now a redirect page once more as the content that was on that page was a duplicate and duplicated pages are against Wikipedia rules. I am really sorry Dranzer but it seems what we've been doing to the episode pages with translations is wrong. However, you could write some episode summaries based on what you've seen in the episode here. That's what i've been doing and Farix says it's not against the rules and are generally well written. --Beyblade4D (talk) 15:09, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Dqm 3ds.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dqm 3ds.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:05, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of Super Mario-kun chapters has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I feel this falls cleanly into the realms of indiscriminate information. I do not think listing the individual chapters just for the sake of listing them to be beneficial to the encyclopdia; this is basically just copying the directory found on the source site.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I noticed that you made a change to an article, BeyWarriors: Cyborg, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
