Hi. Please see the discussion about your Table of Viruses at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Viruses#Please help a draft article at AfC where I asked for some help. One of the project members has made a very interesting suggestion to use your database at WikiData, which is one of the other Wikimedia Foundation projects that supports Wikipedia and other projects as a type of database service. Thanks for your contribution so far. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:35, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
I'm happy to place the table wherever it is deemed to be most useful - I post to save future bioinformatacists the week it required for me to create it, myself. I think it truly could be useful to other scientists. What is the best means for doing so? (Sorry, it's been several years since I contributed.) DrStephenHuff (talk) 15:20, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- @Dodger67: Posted a query about your article on WikiProject: Viruses. Your article looks more suitable for Wikidata. We already have a List of viruses and List of virus families. Get in touch with Tobias1984. He's looking for virus related data for Wikidata to store. Malke 2010 (talk) 15:55, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- @DrStephenHuff: Hi! You couldn't have come back to Wikipedia at a better time. We are currently building a parallel database project (Wikidata) to store information for Wikipedia, and the data will also be accessible on its own. Your table looks like it has lots of great information we would like to store. If your interested in contributing to Wikidata we could work together to get the table into the database and then queries can return the whole table or parts of it, for interested scientists. You can use the same account as Wikipedia. Just head over to www.wikidata.org and we will talk there about the details. If your an bioinformatacists your going to have a lot of fun over at Wikidata :) --Tobias1984 (talk) 21:31, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
- @Tobias1984: Tobias, I created/validated my account and WikiData and started a new item there, but I'm going to have to do a bit of research to figure out how to put the table data into the system. Perhaps you can suggest a quick link for this? DrStephenHuff (talk) 13:54, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
- @DrStephenHuff: I replied on your Wikidata talk page. --Tobias1984 (talk) 16:52, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Newton Falls, Ohio, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 14:38, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
Seems you have a problem with sourcing and rather absurd content additions re: the above and more recently the same on the Ohio article. If you persist in such nonsense you will be blocked. Vsmith (talk) 17:06, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
It only took several weeks to catch, but you caught it. Oh, and have you ever LIVED in Ohio? I don't think the additions were so absurd.— Preceding unsigned comment added by DrStephenHuff (talk • contribs) 17:11, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- Never been there ... and yes, they were quite absurd. Vsmith (talk) 18:08, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- I appreciate the good work that you do, but the fact that you have never been there rather negates your opinion. Unhelpful, probably, but absurd? The truth IS sometimes absurd. Spend a few weeks there and then tell me what's wrong with those people - if it's not widespread contamination on the scale of the Cuyahoga River FIRE, then it can only be due to nearly ubiquitous genetic damage accrued to generation after generation of rampant inbreeding. I chose the "nice" end of the stick. Be good and be well! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.129.6.107 (talk) 13:05, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
