Your homepage

[edit]

Your homepage has something of the look of an advert for what I think is probably your company. Thats probably Not Allowed. If you doubt that, I can probably dig out the policy (or home that someone following me can do it instead :-) William M. Connolley (talk) 20:59, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

am using my homepage as test space for new article

[edit]

My homepage is not an advert. I am using my space as temporary test space for composing a new article. I have read the guidelines and am trying to create a non-advert-like description of a file management model that is unique and not described anywhere else. Hence the reason the why it's not there yet. When completed, it will serve as a reference to another existing article. Meanwhile, I will hack away at some more. Thanks for you input. Please have patience. DrPaul0401 (talk) 00:12, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK. In that case, did you know that you can create subpages? For example, /this? William M. Connolley (talk) 07:44, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Knexus

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Knexus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Bstone (talk) 18:14, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
